Evangelicals for Social Action have a great article illustrating how anglocsed the chrstian faith has become. Choosing Christ over culture shows how we need to detach our the christian faith from the dominant cultural thinking if we are to connect with all God’s children.

Darryl over at dashhouse.com has a couple of great quotes from zander and Willard on the emerging church’s promise and challenge.
I especially appreciate this from Willard
"church is not a gospel. But if their (the emerging church) message becomes living in the kingdom at the street level, then that’s going to be wonderful."
If the we who are a part of this emerging church conversation could move beyond reaction to that promise the world or at least where ever we are in the world would be a different place.
