Yoga

I have been practicing yoga for four and a half years. Initially I was looking to find relief from chronic lower back pain (caused by scoliosis). After some initial frustration I discovered that practicing yoga relieved my back pain and I am now virtually pain free. I also experienced two unanticipated benefits. weight loss of 40 pounds and a greater spiritual openness, and centered mind and spirit that allowed deeper more prayerful connection with God. I guide the Holy Yoga prayer practice at Mosaic Life church the church I pastor. We currently have yoga prayer practice twice a week.

I have completed Yoga Fit Level 1 training and is a certified  Holy Yoga teacher,  registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. I have also taken yoga classes with master Iyengar yoga teacher Mary Reilly and Ashtanga teacher Dave Swenson.
